Changing my publisher is very exciting, but a lot of hard work is involved. At the moment, I am updating my website, slowly but surely, and working on the final revision of Tuesday's Child, a follow on Regency novel from Sunday's Child and Monday's Child. Also it's the time of year when my organic garden in which I grow my own tempts me to go outdoors.

Snippet from Anne of Green Gables
I've been re-reading L. M. Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables. This snippet about the layer cake Anne made amused me. "I'm sure I haven't forgotten anything this time, Mirella. But do you think it will rise? Just suppose perhaps that baking powder isn't any good. I used it out of the new can. And Mrs Lynne says you can never be sure of getting good baking powder nowadays when everything is so adulterated. Mrs Lynne says the Government ought to take the matter up..."
